2014 Louisville Purge Aftermath

WHAS11 BREAKING NEWS:

An unidentified Oldham County man is being questioned by police and local authorities regarding illegal activities that took place during the reported Louisville Purge on Friday night.  LMPD spokesman David Johnson would not comment on the suspect other than saying they were investigating a person of interest who was calling himself the "Purge Master" and who was identified by several witnesses Friday night as the person responsible for the attacks and illegal activities that paralyzed much of the city.  WHAS11 has obtained closed circuit video footage from a local night spot where one of the mass attacks took place.  Witnesses to the incident claim a large white man with a beard wearing some manner of animal skin on his head attacked several people with an unidentified weapon.  The attacker, circled in a frame from the video footage, was heard to be ranting during the attack about teenagers and hippies according to many witnesses.  Other witnesses claim that he appeared in a gold or tan colored SUV driven by a dog and then began beating people randomly.  Of course, these outrageous claims have not been verified by our news team.  LMPD refuses to answer questions regarding the carnage from this past Friday but has asked for anyone with information regarding any of the violence or other illegal activities to contact them at (502) 574-LMPD.  Stay up-to-date with all the latest on the Louisville Purge and the ongoing clean-up at WHAS11 TV or at whas11.com.
